This section will discuss the roles and responsibilities of the busser, how to best interact with guests and how to effectively manage your environment.

Sanitation and Safety

Sanitation and safety are of paramount importance in any F&B establishment. As employees you should always be aware of proper sanitation practices and always wash your hands before your shift, after using the restroom, before and after handling food, after smoking and after handling soiled dishes, garbage or money.

Scenario - The Washroom

We will review a typical washroom visit by a guest. This may seem strange, but a lot can be interpreted by the guest based on the establishments care in the sanitation and attention to detail in the washroom. Find out why it's so important and how you can ensure this won't happen while on shift.
